ofwea.com publishes guides on barbering, hair care, skincare, and grooming products. We write for two readers: the person trying to look after themselves at home, and the person doing this work for a living. Every guide is meant to answer a real question, not to fill space or chase a search ranking.
How We Research a Guide
Before a guide goes live, we research the topic rather than writing from memory. We cross-check technique and safety claims against established trade guidance, manufacturer documentation, and published research. Where sources disagree, we say so instead of pretending there is one clean answer. When better information appears, we update the guide.
How We Review Products
Product write-ups reflect extended hands-on use and a close read of the ingredient list, not a single try or a spec sheet. We compare a product against its category, not against its marketing, and we point out who it suits and who should skip it. We do not rank products by who pays us, because nobody pays us for coverage.
Independence
We accept no payment for editorial coverage, and we run no pay-to-play reviews. Some links on the site may be affiliate links, which means we can earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we recommend. A product earns a mention on merit or not at all.
